About Us
Comrades is a non-profit making club that was founded in 2003 by a group of Kenyan expatriates in Uganda. The club was originally for for a few members only, but it was later opened up to members of willing Kenyans. The club has grown over the years, and it currently has over 400 members. The objectives of the club include assisting members who are ill or bereaved financially, engaging in sports, and participating in community social responsibilities. The club was formally registered in Uganda in 2018, and a SACCO was also formed in 2020 to assist members grow their financial well-being.
The club was founded by a group of Kenyan expatriates who were looking for a way to connect with each other and support each other in Uganda. The club has grown over the years, and it has become a valuable resource for Kenyans in Uganda. The club provides a variety of services to its members, including financial assistance, sports and social activities, and community outreach.
The club is committed to helping Kenyans in Uganda thrive. The club’s motto is “Comrades helping comrades,” and the club’s members are dedicated to supporting each other and making a difference in the community.
